LHS Night at TGI Fridays (2/18/12)

Have lunch, dinner, or both at TGI Fridays and Lutheran High School will receive 15% of your sales for the day of Tuesday, February 18 from 11am-1am.

You must present the flyer for the school to receive the funds. The flyer is available on the link provided on the LHS homepage. The offer is valid only at the TGI Fridays in Metairie on Veterans. Offer valid for dine-in or take-out.

Gryphon Gala

LHS's Gryphon Gala XXV, "Simply Gryphon," will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Atonement Lutheran Church and School in Metairie. The Gala includes a silent auction and hospitality hour beginning at 5pm, followed by dinner at 6pm, and a verbal auction at 7:30pm. The attire is dressy casual. This is a great time to reunite with former classmates, teachers, and friends!!! Tickets are $60/person with tables of 10 available for $600. For reservations, contact Nicole Alleman at 504-628-7819. Don't forget that registration day is this Thursday, August 11.

Juniors and seniors are asked to register from 9-11am. Sophomores and freshmen are asked to register from 1-2pm.

Student Council Week 2011

April 11-15 was this year's annual Student Council Week. Students participated in a week of dress-downs and lunch competitions. The week ended with a crawfish boil and class competitions. Congrats to the following students and classes who won the competitions.

Early Release April 15

Due to bad weather, the activities scheduled to close out Student Council Week have been postponed. As a result, students will be dismissed from school Friday, April 15 at 1:00pm. We will still be having crawfish, but the afternoon events are rescheduled for Monday.

Monday, April 18 is a regular school day and students are expected to be dressed in school uniform. Students will be dismissed at the end of the school day to change into shorts and T-shirts, and participate in the class competitions.
