The Lady Gryphons shut out Maurepas on Tuesday afternoon 1-0. Hayley threw a no hitter and the ladies had no errors in the game. Congrats!! The next game is Thursday, the 29th at Mt. Hermon for 4PM

Softball

In a pitcher's dual the Lady Gryphon's were defeated by French Settlement 1-0 on Saturday morning. The next game is Tuesday @ Maurepas for 4PM.

Track

At the recent AllState Sugar Bowl Classic held at Tad Gormley, freshman Princetta Cummings finished second place overall in the 100m Hurdles. Congratualations!

New Doors

New doors were recently installed at LHS. Many thanks to Mr. Lacey and Mr. Taylor along with a crew of volunteers that helped to make this project possible.

Track

The track team completed a successful meet at the Maurepas High School Cooney Relays held on March 21, 2007. The girls and boys both finished in 3rd place. Individual results are as follows:

Shot Put - Joshua Simon - 1st Place
100m Hurdles - Princetta Cummings - 1st Place
100m Dash - Princetta Cummings - 1st Place
200m Dash - Princetta Cummings - 1st Place
100m Dash - Brianne Roberts - 3rd Place

Volleyball

Three Lady Gryphon volleyball players were recognized for their on-court performance during a season that saw Lutheran High finish second in the district and qualify for the post season.

In addition the Times-Picayune named Katie Lacey to All East Jefferson volleyball team.

The lady Gryphon's were defeated by Holden 6-0 on March 20. Hayley Feindel pitched a one hitter for the game. Their next outing is Thursday, March 22 vs. Believer's Life at JPRD #2.

Softball

In LHS Softball action this week, the ladies were defeated by McGehee 6-4 on Tuesday and defeated by Ecole 10-4 on Friday. The ladies lost two key players to injuries during the week. Their record stands at 5-4-2.

Drama

On March 9 & 10 the Drama department presented "The Nerd". The entire cast were newcomers to the stage and now eagerly await the next production.
